Shipping Methods

Most orders are shipped to customer residences by next day delivery.  We currently use UPS Next Day Air.  Depending on whether the delivery address is urban or rural, most shipments will arrive prior to Noon; however, we have no control over actual delivery time.

Packages will be shipped on Mondays, for Tuesday delivery.  If a holiday falls on a Monday, we will ship on Tuesday.  ALL orders will receive an email message confirming a shipping date.  The email message will ask for a reply from  the customer confirming the ship date is OK.

Weather or other events may impact shipping days at the last minute. We will advise ASAP if that occurs and it is advisable to change shipping date.

Occasionally we use air cargo, where fish must be picked up at the airport.  This is infrequent and reserved for specialty/custom orders. 

We  offer a live arrival guarantee on all orders with the following conditions:

For next day deliveries, the package must be accepted on the first delivery attempt and not left outside in the elements.  Any DOAs must be reported within 1 hour of delivery, with a digital pic of the dead fish in the unopened bag(s).  DOA means not alive in the bag.  

A refund will be issued for any DOAs, or if a catastrophic delivery occurs (all DOA), we will reship if fish are available.
